Isn't she adorable ? I have colored her with me Spectrum Noirs and then used my distress inks arounf the edge.
The papers are all from the Silhouette Store and are by Samantha Walker.
The flower & shapes are all also from the Silhouette store
The button and Twine are both from my stash and the ribbon tabs are made using some scrap bits of ribbon that I had.
I hope you like what I have created, why not head on over to the Whimsy Challenge Blog to check out this months challenge which is Anything goes.

Time for a little Whimsy inspiration...
Afternoon all :) hope you are all well ?
I have been playing with some of this months new releases from Whimsy Stamps and also my cameo.
I decided not to do a card this time round and went for a box frame, made using one of Lori Whitlock cutting files.
What do you think......
I have used one of Chrissy's digis new images, Butterfly Florish 2 which can be purchased here for just $3.00 (you also get two images for that !), I wanted to do something different and not color with my pens, so using the following distress inks I tried to acheive a vintage feel fade effect-
Tea dye (darkest)
Antique Linen (med)
Old paper (lightest)
I then used Chipped Sapphire to just add some flashed of blue around the body area.
Then using my white gel pen i highlighted some areas and also added a couple of pearls.
I then finished off with all the embellishments.
I am really happy with how this has turned out, normally most of my items get put in a box, but this will be displayed in my craft room.
Don't forget to head on over to Whimsy Stamps to check out all the new releases.
Have a lovely day all x

Time for some gardening.....
Morning all, well it is lovely here today, very much gardening weather, so seemed very fitting for my Whimsy design team inspiration card for this week to be this lovely lady....
She is part of this months new release over at Whimsy and is By Lia Stampz and is called Gardening and can be purchased here for $4.00.
She certainly put a smile on my face :)
I have colored her using my spectrums.
Papers are Prima and PapermillDirect.
Don't forget that new release time also means bloghop time, Head on over to Whimsy Blog to check out how to join in.
Enjoy the day everyone x

New Challenge time over at That Craft Place...Altered Items
Morning all, I hope you are all having a great weekend.
Well it is new challenge time over at That Craft Place , the theme for this challenge is Altered item.
Here is my design team make for this challenge...
Lisa sells these fab blank notebooks, so it seemed perfect for me too use one for this challenge.
I have used Prima Botanicals paper to cover the book and then built up the cover using Flowers, brads, buttons and embellishments.
The quote is one I have always loved, and as this will be a notebook for my crafty ramblings it seemed very fitting.
I have got my distress inks out (what did we do before these....teabags anyone !) and used them on some of the flowers and on the edge of the quotes and book.
I hope you like my little altered notebook.
Why not check out the rest of the talented design teams creations over at That Craft Place Challenge blog, and why not enter whilst you are there.
Also don't forget to check out That craft place facebook group which is where you can see and buy all the lovely items lisa has for sale, as well as chat to other crafters.
I look forward too seeing all your beautiful entries x

Getting Scrappy..
It is a beautiful day here, sun has been beaming through my craft room window all day, and nothing beats crafting in the sun :)
I wanted to share my latest scrapbook page with you, now I don't often share my pages on here, but that is going to change and rather than just showing my cards it will become more of an all round crafting blog.
I don't often do pages that include photos of myself...in fact this is the first, the photo I have used is one that was taken last summer, and is my favorite photo of myself.
Anyway here it is....
I am a fan of doing mini scrapbooks, and this one will be a 6x6.
I am a huge fan of brads and flowers, as well as wooden embellishments, so I have tried to include all of them elements on this page. I also added some stitching as one of my crafting loves is cross stitching.
Lets have a closer look...
On this picture you can see some of the flowers I have used, I took the centres out and replaced them with some MME brads.
The center of the wooden flower is actually from a hair clip...I love all these colors together.
I love embossing so have added some stamped corners to the photo and them embossed them, I also embossed the edges of the border.
I am really happy with how this turned out and cannot wait to get cracking on my next page.
Items used:
Kaisercraft Marigold 6x6 pad- the borders & the Die cuts are also from this pad I purchased the pad from the lovely Lisa at That Craft Place
My Minds eye Lost and Found Brads.
Tim Holtz Distress ink Tea Dye (again from the lovely lisa)
Flowers are all from my stash, bar from the little net flower which is from That Craft Place
The Ribbon is from my stash.
Well I hope you like my page. Enjoy the rest of the weekend :)
